Police are asking for the public’s helping in locating a missing young woman from St. Joseph, Man.

Morris RCMP say 20-year-old Stacey Thomas left her family home Aug. 23 around 9 p.m. saying she was going for a walk. Since that time, her family has not had any direct contact with her, RCMP said in a press release.

She is considered to be a vulnerable person, and her family and police are seeking the public’s help in finding her to check on her well being. It is believed Stacey may be staying in Winnipeg.

She is described as aboriginal in appearance, 5’-3", with a slim build, brown eyes and black, below-the-shoulder hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Morris RCMP at (204) 746-2323 or their local police.
