Police are once again warning the public not to consume large quantities of prescription medication after a pedestrian was robbed of pills in the North End.
On Tuesday evening, a pedestrian walking along Main Street near Mountain Avenue was robbed by a female assailant, police said Wednesday in a statement.
Lost in the theft were quantities of the prescription medications arthrotec, asaphen, metformin, ranitidine, ramipril, theophylline, venlafaxine and xanax.
Police advise the public it would be unwise to consume large quantities of prescription drugs, either alone or in combination with other meds.
