Prices at the pump drop across city

The price of gasoline has eased in the city in the last day.

From the recent prolonged high of $1.269 per litre, prices have dropped by at least five cents at several stations around town.

The web site winnipeggasprices.com reports this morning that regular fuel can be found for as low as $1.217 at the Domo station on Marion Street near Turenne Street.

At least four other Domo stations and two Costco outlets are reporting $1.219 this morning, while several other stations have dropped their prices to $1.239 or $1.249.

The price decline puts some Winnipeg retailers as much as 11-cents-per-litre lower than the average price across Canada ($1.328) today.

Until this week’s fluctuation, prices around Winnipeg have remained at the $1.269 level since the price hike in the second week of September.
