"It will be my honour, on behalf of all Manitobans, to welcome the Prince of Wales back to our province and, for the first time, to welcome the Duchess of Cornwall," Selinger said. "Our relationship with the Royal Family is a long and proud one. We are delighted that Their Royal Highnesses have decided to include our province in their next visit to Canada and we look forward to showcasing some of the best things Manitoba has to offer."

Prince Charles last visited Manitoba in 1996 and this is the Duchess of Cornwall's first visit.

They also stop in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as part of their upcoming Canadian tour.
