Province's best screen actors to be recognized

And the best actors in Manitoba this year are ...

You will have to wait until Saturday to find out, when ACTRA Manitoba presents the 2012 performance awards to local actors at the Berney Theatre.

The red carpet ceremony, hosted by comedians Al Rae and Dean Jenkinson, awards two actors from a list of 10 nominees as most outstanding performance of the year.

Nominees for most outstanding performance by a female artist include: Julia Arkos (Lucky Christmas); Kristen Harris (Passionflower); Talia Pura (Cashing In: Season 3); Ali Tataryn (The Drive Home); and Courtney-Jane White (Todd & The Book of Pure Evil; Season 2).

Nominees for most outstanding performance by a male artist include: Mike Bell (Lucky Christmas); Darcy Fehr (Passionflower); Ross McMillan (Book of Vaudeville); Ryan Miller (Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure); and Mitchell Kummen (Lucky Christmas).
