The mercury is expected to rise to 25 C in Winnipeg before dipping down to 15 C overnight. The UV index today is 9, or very high. Winnipeggers are encouraged to slather on sunscreen and wear a hat to avoid a nasty sunburn.
The northern half of the province is covered in cloud and expecting showers to begin at noon today.
Rain should visit southern Manitoba on Monday, with cloud cover building throughout the day and a 60 per cent risk of showers with the chance of a thunderstorm. The high will be 23 C.
