Garbage truck driver charged in crash near Brady Road
A garbage truck driver has been charged with suspended driving and proceeding before safe to do so after a Perimeter Highway crash near Brady Road Wednesday afternoon.
The garbage truck was travelling westbound on the Perimeter at about 2 p.m., when it began to turn south to Brady Road when it collided with an eastbound Ford Focus.
The car driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was treated and released.
The Perimeter Highway near Brady Road was closed for about three hours while the paramedics attended to the injured and police investigated the crash. It reopened shortly before 5 p.m.
