RCMP investigate sexual assault of Waywayseecappo teen
WINNIPEG -- A 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on the Waywayseecappo First Nation on Saturday, RCMP say.
Two men from the reserve, aged 25 and 21, face numerous charges and have been detained. They will appear in Brandon Provincial Court on Thursday.
They will not be identified by the RCMP to protect the victim's identity.
Waywayseecappo is located 350 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, near Rossburn.
