RCMP kept busy at Countryfest

The Dauphin RCMP hasn't had much time to enjoy the weather at Countryfest.

In addition to recording one disturbance, three assaults, eight traffic offences and 32 speeding tickets at the music festival Thursday and Friday, officers charged 24 people for speeding, 19 for traffic offences, and six for having open liquor on Saturday.

At least five arrests were also made on Saturday, and those who were arrested were lodged for being intoxicated. Two people had their driving privileges suspended for 24 hours, as well.
