RCMP lay bootlegging charges against Riverton store owner

A store owner in the Interlake has been charged with bootlegging.

RCMP said its officers had been involved in a joint investigation with staff from the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission which resulted in charges Monday against Bilinski Enterprises, operators of The Other Place in Riverton.

The company has been charged with three counts of unlawful sale of alcohol, selling alcohol out of hours and selling of alcohol for resale.

The company was served with a summons to appear April 15 in Arborg Provincial Court.
