Boy, 10, missing in western Manitoba

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a 10-year-old boy who was reported missing this morning near Lake of the Prairies, Man.

Tyrone Alexander Podollan was last seen on the property owned by his family near a cottage area close to Cupar’s Creek, which is near Lake of the Prairies. Lake of the Prairies is about 100 kilometres west of Dauphin.

At 10:45 a.m. Roblin RCMP were told Tyrone was missing and that family had not been able to find him.

Tyrone is described as having a small build, about four feet tall, 80 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a red long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and camouflage rubber boots. He was wearing a white t-shirt under the red shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Roblin RCMP at 204-937-2164 or their local police branch.

The Dauphin RCMP Police Service dog is helping Roblin RCMP with the search, as well as the RCMP Search and Rescue Team and the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner.
