Sugarland is out and Reba McEntire is in at this year’s Dauphin Countryfest.

McEntire will replace the country-pop duo as the headliner on July 1 after Sugarland announced it had to cancel numerous dates around that time because of "scheduling conflicts due to TV obligations."

McEntire is one of the most successful female country artists of all time. During the 1980s and ’90s she scored 22 No. 1 hits and sold more than 33 million albums.

She is also an actress with roles in movies, Broadway and television, starring in her own series, Reba, from 2001 to 2007.

McEntire will be the final performer of the June 28 to July 1 festival located on the Selo Ukraina site 10 kilometres south of Dauphin.

A variety of ticket packages, including bus tours from Brandon and Yorkton, are available now at countryfest.ca.
