Things are slowly starting to warm up in Winnipeg.
Today, the thermometer is expected to climb above zero, with a high of 1 Celsius forecast.This morning at 7 a.m., however, it was just -4.8 C with an east wind that made it feel like -12.
Sunshine and a high of 3 C are expected Saturday with rain and a high of 3 C on Sunday. Things will cool off again Monday, with a daytime high of 0 C and periods of snow.
More snow is expected Tuesday, but by Wednesday the sunshine and warmer temperatures should return with a high of 4 C forecast. That’s still abnormally cold for this time of year in Winnipeg when it’s normally 9 C.
