Remembrance Day services carry on despite snow

A thick snowfall didn't stop Winnipeggers from remembering the sacrifice of Canada's soldiers.
Remembrance Day services got underway even outdoors in Winnipeg.
The corner of Valour Road and Sargent Street was scraped clear for a ceremony to honour Canada's veterans.
Indoors at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, nearly all the seats were filled for the main joint veterans service.
Military cemeteries were cleared and ready for crowds paying their respects to fallen soldiers in spite of the cold and snow.
