River Heights C.C. to get new condenser unit

Ottawa has provided $44,500 towards the replacement of the evaporator condenser at the River Heights Community Centre, which will allow the Centre to maintain ice standards for various sports and ensure the centre's long-term viability. Improvements to the centre’s infrastructure will increase the energy efficiency of the facility allowing it to enhance and expand the services it provides to the community, MP Joyce Bateman (PC-Winnipeg South Centre) said.

"The arena at our River Heights site is a key part of our community," said Pat O’Connor, President of the Corydon Community Centre Board. "This funding goes a long way in helping us upgrade a condenser unit that was installed in 1975."
