River Trail now open

The River Trail has been opened on the Red River.

The Forks announced this morning that the ice trail has been extended to Churchill Park. The trail now extends seven kilometres, from the Hugo Street dock on the Assiniboine, down to the Forks and around onto the Red down to Churchill Park.

The Forks said warming huts will be placed on the trail next week.

Updates on the trail condition can be accessed from The Forks’ website.
