WINNIPEG - It's been 20 years since Steven Schipper began his first season as artistic director of the Manitoba Theatre Centre.

In his two decades at the helm, MTC has lured movie and TV stars to the Winnipeg stage, attracted the largest number of season subscribers among not-for-profits in the country, established one of the best fringe festivals in North America and generally made MTC a role model for regional theatres in Canada.

In honour of his 20 years, Schipper agreed to answer 20 questions.
