Marc Kielburger in the News Café

Free the Children co-founder Marc Kielburger spoke with Paul Samyn at the Free Press News Café on Monday as part of the newspaper's countdown to We Day Manitoba.

The Canadian author, humanitarian and children's rights activist talked about the change that can come from pennies, partnerships and passion.

Kielburger also previewed some of the excitement that speakers such as former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev will bring to the MTS Centre, which will be packed with 15,000 students Tuesday.

Samyn and Kielburger officially announced Mikhail Gorbachev as the guest editor of Tuesday's Winnipeg Free Press.
