See the trailer for locally shot thriller

Horror fans are finally getting a glimpse of ATM, a thriller mostly shot on location in the parking lot of Winnipeg’s Church of the Rock in early 2011.

The film stars Alice Eve, Josh Peck and Brian Geraghty as a trio of white-collar twentysomethings who find themselves trapped in an enclosed ATM kiosk in the parking lot of a shopping centre when a maniac in a parka gets between the cash machine and their car. The film was scripted by Chris Sparling (who penned the similarly minimalist Ryan Reynolds thriller Buried) and directed by David Brooks.

The film is being distributed by IFC Films, but no release date has been announced yet.
