Shilo soldier arrested for alleged lewd act
A CFB Shilo spokesperson has confirmed military police have arrested a soldier in connection with a lewd act allegedly committed on base on Wednesday.
MPs arrested the soldier after being called about a man committing a lewd act at General Strange Hall, the base's recreation complex, on Wednesday afternoon.
It wasn't clear whether he was charged with any offence.
Details of the incident weren't immediately available. A number of youth reportedly were in the area during the lewd act, but they may not have witnessed it.
It isn't known whether the incident is linked to a string of recently reported lewd acts on the base and in Brandon.
However, a base spokesperson said the soldier is not the 24-year-old Shilo man previously arrested and charged with sexual assault in relation to a Feb. 3 incident.
