Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for large ship’s wheel, which they say was stolen from a popular Winnipeg riverboat.
The Paddlewheel Princess, which provides tours on the Red River, was broken into between August 22 and August 23 while docked, police said in a release.
The culprit made off with the ship’s steering wheel, which is described by police as being a "large, wooden spiked steering wheel" and "typically used for large boats/ships."
Anybody who's spotted the wheel is asked to call investigators at 204-986-2848 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
