A dispute between two adult males and a resident in a home on the 400 block of Armstrong Avenue resulted in a gun being fired about 1:20 a.m. Sunday.
Winnipeg police say the resident took aim at one of the males, but missed, and the two men fled the scene on foot. There were no injuries.
The unnamed man who fired the shot was arrested inside the West Kildonan home and is facing several firearm related offences.
Police secured the area and removed a male and female from the residence. The intended victims were later located by police.
Members of the District 3 crime unit are continuing to investigate. No information was released about the cause of the dispute or whether the two parties knew each other.
