Shots fired in Weston area

Police are asking for the public's help investigating a drive-by shooting this morning.

At about 4 a.m., shots were fired at a house in the 1500 block of Ross Avenue West.

The residents were home sleeping at the time but no one was injured.

Police noted damage to the front of the home.

The major crimes unit is investigating but police are also asking that anyone with information about the incident to contact investigators at 986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
