H1N1 still lingers, six people on ventilators
WINNIPEG — Six adults are in intensive care in a Winnipeg hospital hooked up to ventilators with confirmed cases of H1N1.
"People may think it's over, but for these families and these individuals it is devastating," Heidi Graham, spokeswoman for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, said today.
Graham said the mass community immunization clinics are wrapping up at the end of this week but people will still be able to get immunized at smaller community clinics that are planned.
She said for those clinics people will soon be able to phone in and make an appointment to get the shot.
