Six youths charged with weapons offences

Winnipeg police have charged six youths after seizing several weaons.

Police were called Thursday evening to Isabel Street and Logan Avenue where they saw several people acting in a suspicious manner.

Police seized three cans of bear spray, an 8-ball and numerous machetes.

Six youths, ages 14 to 17, are charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.

They were released with a promise to appear later.
