Throw the horns — Slayer is coming back to Winnipeg.

The pioneering thrash metal band added seven Canadian dates to a mammoth North American tour, which stops at the MTS Centre on Nov. 7.

Tickets are $43.50-$53.50 and go on sale on Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.ca and Ticketmaster outlets.

This is Slayer’s first North American tour in two years and first since the May death of founding member Jeff Hanneman.

Exodus guitarist Gary Holt will continue to fill in for Hanneman on this tour, joining founders Tom Araya and Kerry King and drummer Paul Bostaph.
