Some drifting snow, slippery sections on Manitoba highways

Road conditions in and around Winnipeg are slick and slippery this morning with drifting snow and icy spots.
Three people were taken to hospital this morning after a multi-vehicle collision just before 9 a.m. at Plessis Road and Symington Road. The injured people were in stable condition. Northbound Plessis is closed south of Fermor Avenue, police said.
Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation reports the Perimeter Highway is covered with a thin layer of ice and will be slippery for motorists.
Similar conditions exist on the Trans-Canada between Winnipeg and Ste. Anne and on Highway 15 between the city and Anola.
Highway 3 between the Perimeter and Sanford is ice-covered with drifting snow.
The westbound Trans-Canada is ice-covered between Headingley and Winnipeg, but bare and dry further west toward Portage la Prairie.
