Steinbach rollover driver held for impaired driving

  • Print

A 22-year-old man is in police custody for impaired driving after the car he was driving rolled over near Steinbach on the junction of Highway 1 and Highway 12, according to Steinbach RCMP.

The car was driving westbound on Highway 1 Sunday morning when it didn't make the exit ramp onto Highway 12 and rolled over, an RCMP release said. None of the three male occupants had life-threatening injuries, but all three were brought to a hospital.

The investigation into how impaired the driver was is ongoing. The lanes have since been fully opened.
