Strong wind delivers a cold day

You'll need a scarf, or at least a good toque, as there is a wind chill of -25 C this morning with winds gusting to 60 km/hr. A high of -11 is expected for today with winds diminishing to 20 km/h.

Plan to plug in your vehicle tonight as the -25 wind chill will continue overnight with a low of minus-18.

Wednesday will bring clouds in the morning with a 60 per cent chance of freezing rain in the late afternoon and early evening. A south wind will be gusting to 60 but diminishing to 20 in the evening. Late in the evening, there will be a 60 per cent chance of flurries.

Thursday will be sunny and windy with a high of -3 and a low of -5. A cooler day Friday will bring a high of -16 and a low of -21.

Saturday will have a mix of sun and cloud with 30 percent chance of flurries. The high will be -10 and a low of -17. There will be a mix of sun and cloud also on Sunday with a high of -9 and a low of -12.

On Monday, there is a 60 percent chance of flurries. The high will be -11 with a low of -14.
