Sunny Thursday a good omen for weekend

It’s a forecast most Winnipeggers and Manitobans would take every day - sunny skies and normal temperatures are expected Thursday and through the weekend.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 22 C today with sunny skies and the conditions look to be similar through the weekend.

Friday should bring a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers late in the morning and in the afternoon with a risk of thunderstorms and a high of 22 C. The temperatures could hit 26 Con Saturday with sunny skies.

Sunday’s forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers but a high of 26 C while Monday could hit 26 C again under sunny skies.

Normal high temperatures for the period are 22 C.
