Sunny start to day but chance of late thunderstorms

Soak up the sun while you can today in Winnipeg.

A mix of sun and clouds wtih a high of 25 C is expected today with a UV index of 8 or very high, says Environment Canada.

Be ready for anything, however, as the AccuWeather forecast is calling for thunderstorms this afternoon.

Tonight it will be partly cloudy with a low of 17 C.

On Saturday, it will be mostly cloudy and humid with thunderstorms are expected during the day with a high of 25 C.

There are more thunderstorms expected Sunday with a high of 26 C.

On Monday, there will be a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 25 C.
