Sunny weather ahead, except for Saturday

  • Print

One of these things is not like the others.

On the Environment Canada online weather graphic for Winnipeg -- weather.gc.ca/city/pages/mb-38_metric_e.html -- there's a whole lot of images of bright sun icons for this week and next.

That's a really good thing, folks.

However, the one image that sticks out like a sore thumb is the grey cloud icon, with little blue droplets falling from it, that represents what's in store for us Saturday.

We can expect plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures today through Friday, with highs between 17 C to 20 C.

On Saturday, showers are expected, with a high of 15 C.

But the sunshine returns Sunday, and bright skies are forecast through the early part of next week, with daytime highs of up to 25 C.
