Suspect charged in shooting death on New Year's Eve 2011

A suspect has been charged in the shooting death of a 36-year-old man at a house party on New Year’s Eve 2011.

Clayton Campeau, 33, is charged with with second-degree murder in the death of Michael Warren Sinclair, 36.

Sinclair was shot after he opened the rear door of a residence in the 600-block of Selkirk Avenue early in the morning of Dec. 31, 2011. He was taken to hospital in critical condition, but died from his injuries.

A 30-year-old woman was also injured in the shooting was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Campeau is being held in custody.
