Suspect sought in store robbery

Winnipeg police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a convenience store in the 400 block of Edison Avenue at approximately 3:40 a.m. Sunday.

The armed suspect overtook two employees, jumped over the store’s counter and took an undisclosed amount of merchandise before fleeing the scene. No one was hurt during the incident.

Police are searching for a male described as about 25 years old and six feet tall.
