Suspects sought after Keewatin gas bar robbed

Police are investigating a gas bar robbery Sunday evening on Keewatin Street.

Police said two young men entered the gas bar in the 700 block of Keewatin at about 7:40 p.m. armed with a large knife. The 17-year-old boy working at the gas bar was confronted but not injured. The robbers demanded he open the till and both robbers fled with cash and cigarettes. The suspects are both described as men 18 to 20 years old, with medium builds and about 6-1. One is Caucasian, the other is Aboriginal.

No arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call 204-986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
