Winnipeg police are looking for two men following a home invasion in St. Boniface Sunday.
Just before 7 p.m., police responded to a call to a home in the 200 block of Bertrand Street, where a robbery had just taken place. Two suspects had forced their way into the residence after a 67-year-old man had answered the door.
The suspects were armed with a black pistol and pepper spray, police say. The pepper spray was discharged during the incident. A 66-year-old woman was also in the home. She was able to vacate the home and immediately contacted police.
The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are looking for two men, both Caucasian and in their twenties. The men are approximately 5'10" in height with slim builds, and were wearing dark clothing at the time of the robbery. Both were wearing balaclavas to conceal their faces.
