Suspects sought in knifepoint robbery

Winnipeg Police are asking for the public’s help to locate two men who held up a convenience store in the 1800 block of Henderson Highway earlier this morning.

Just before 3:30 a.m. Monday, two men entered the store. One threatened the clerk with a knife and made off with cigarettes and some cash, police said.

The suspects are described as two men, aboriginal in appearance. One suspect is about 26 years of age, about 5’6" tall, wearing a black jacket, black pants and a hat.

The other suspect is 19 or 20 years of age, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a hat.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 786-8477.
