Swan River crash kills driver

WINNIPEG - One person is dead following a two-vehicle accident near Swan River this morning.

RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 10, approximately 10 kilometres east of Swan River.

The driver of the eastbound car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the westbound truck was taken to the Swan Valley Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

RCMP say road conditions at the time of the collision were slippery.

The name of the deceased is being held pending notification of next of kin. The investigation continues.
