Swift to paint town red with June 22 concert

Taylor Swift will paint the town red in 2013, according to a tour announcement.

The country music mega-star’s Red Tour includes a stop in Winnipeg, where she’ll play Investors Group Field, new home of the CFL’s Blue Bombers on Saturday, June 22, 2013.

Swift’s tour kicks off March 13 in Omaha, Neb., and includes 58 shows in 45 cities in 29 states and three provinces. She plays Fargo on Sept. 6.

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is slated as special guest on all shows.

At Swift’s request, every show will include tickets priced under $50, according to a press release. The first tickets will go on sale Nov. 16, with details available at www.taylorswift.com and www.abcnews.com.

Meanwhile, Bon Jovi fans can buy tickets for the band’s April 5, 2013, Winnipeg show starting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 2 through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $25.25 to $172.75.
