Tactical Support Team in demand Sunday

Uniform members with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team were investigating an incident at a home in East Kildonan this morning before rushing to another residence in the North End.

Police said they received information that firearms may be present inside the residence in the 500 block of Trent Avenue. Police investigated before the Tactical Support Team and several police cruisers sped from that home to another residence on Pritchard Avenue near Manitoba Avenue.

There are no reports of shots being fired and no reports of any serious injuries. No further information is available.
