  • Print

A 17-year old boy has been charged with aggravated assault after a stabbing at a Charleswood-area home early Sunday.

Police say a 47-year-old man is now in stable condition after being rushed to hospital with an upper-body stab wound from a home on Elmhurst Road around 3:30 a.m.

An argument escaled into violence, police said. They didn't say what the nature of the dispute was.

The 17-year-old was arrested at the scene. He was interviewed, charged and released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
