Nineteen-year-old Kody Maines has been identified on Facebook as the victim in a fatal crash on Highway 330 just south of the Perimeter Sunday evening.

Friends and relatives identified Maines, who they said was a graduate of Dakota Collegiate.

More than 1,000 people have joined the R.I.P. Kody Maines Facebook site.

RCMP said that the driver of a northbound Jaguar was killed in a head-on collision with a southbound SUV around 6 p.m. Sunday.
