A teenager has life-threatening injuries after a high-speed police chase that ended in a collision.
An 18-year-old woman was rushed to hospital after the Toyota Camry she was in hit a Nissan Altima in the 100 block of Mapleglen Drive on Saturday around 10:25 p.m, police said.
Police said the driver of the Camry is in stable condition, along with the 27-year-old driver of the other vehicle.
Police said members of the canine unit spotted the Camry being driven erratically near Jefferson Avenue and Sheppard Street.
When police began chasing the vehicle, it took off at a high speed, going through several traffic control devices.
Police said the Camry collided with the Nissan at Maberley Road and Mapleglen Drive, with the Nissan coming to a halt after striking a house.
Brandon Linsangan, 19, has been charged with numerous offences, including two counts of impaired driving cause bodily harm, flight from police and driving while disqualified.
