Teenager shot fleeing home invaders on Aberdeen

A teenaged boy is in stable condition in hospital after he was shot Thursday night while fleeing a home invasion in the 800 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

Police said several people  forced entry into the home about 8:40 p.m. , causing occupants to flee. One of the invaders fired a gun at the fleeing group, striking the boy, police said. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
