Teenager stabbed on Pritchard Avenue
WINNIPEG — An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital this morning after he was stabbed in the back on Pritchard Avenue.
Winnipeg Police Service Const. Jacquline Chaput said the attack happened just after 8:35 a.m. in the 400 block of Pritchard Avenue. Several unknown men stabbed the 18-year-old in the back.
Chaput said the victim is in hospital in stable condition, but is not cooperating with police.
The investigation will continue.

Gang initiation gone bad? Thugs trying to collect a debt owed? To stab someone in the back is a cowardly act, typical of these punks....cowards, all of them.
Why did they stab in the back? Probably as the victim turned around to walk away, or they had him surrounded, and a coward came up from behind.
fairisfair, it will only end when...it won't end. The current state of the justice (HA!) system, the way the parents raise & treat their kids, the peer pressure from gangs to join, etc, the lack of things to do (recreation halls, clubs to join, etc,) only adds to someone's frustration in life.
And that is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Thugs attacking other thugs. This isn't news any more. WFP, stop being the play-by-play commentator to a bunch of gangbangers as they kill each other off. It only glorifies their hold on certain areas of this city.
