Boys charged after two-hour break-in spree in Wolseley
Two teenaged boys have been arrested following a break-and-enter spree in the Wolseley neighbourhood.
Winnipeg Police said that between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, homes were broken into on Wolseley Avenue, Sprague Street, Basswood Place, and Dominion Street.
Police were called when neigbours saw two males breaking into the Dominion Street home.
Police said the spree began about 3:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wolseley Avenue when two males cut a window screen in the home, but couldn't get the window open. They then went to a secured utility shed and forced entry. Damage was caused, nothing was stolen.
