Teens arrested at Selkirk high school
Two teens were arrested at Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School in Selkirk Friday morning after a week-long investigation into drug trafficking at the school.
RCMP seized $200 in cash and about 20 grams of marijuana during the investigation that led to the arrest of the two teens, who RCMP said are students at the high school.
A 16-year-old East Selkirk student faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purposes of trafficking.
A Selkirk youth, also 16, faces the same drug charges as well as a charge of possessions of property obtained by crime.
Both teens were released on a promise to appear. They are scheduled to appear in court in January.
