Winnipeg can finally start putting the coldest winter since 1898 behind it today.
Environment Canada says today will be sunny and hit a high of 6 C, nearly normal for early April. Sunday will be much the same, though with slightly more clouds and a high of 7 C. The chance of rain or minor flurries this weekend seems to have waned.
And, just wait for Tuesday and Wednesday when Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 10 C and 14 C, respectively, with mostly sunny skies.
