Thieves' hissy haul includes two bright lime green snakes

Thieves that struck at a St. Boniface home last week made off with a hissy haul.

Two emerald tree boa snakes were among the things stolen from the home in the 200 block of Youville Street. Thieves broke into the home on either Wednesday or Thursday last week.

The snakes, which are prized exotic pets, are bright lime green with large heads. The two that were stolen both measure about 4 feet, 6 inches long, and include a male and a female.

Anyone with information about the theft, or about where the snakes might be, is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 204-786-8477.
