Thieves strip $20K worth of copper wiring from gravel pit

Thieves have made off with up to $20,000 worth of copper after conveyor machines at a gravel pit were stripped of wiring.

Steinbach RCMP said today that the theft took place at the Diamond Construction and Gravel Pit in the RM of La Broquerie sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Police said they have no leads and are hoping the public can help them.
